MINI STICKS SUMMER CAMPS
Mini Sticks Summer Camps are for boys and girls ages 5-10 where they will HAVE FUN, WORK HARD, AND PRACTICE POSITIVE VIBES ONLY! If your child enjoyed Mini Sticks sessions during the school year, or even if this is his/her first experience with lacrosse, we'd love to see them at camp! Equipment is provided (sticks and balls), but feel free to bring your own. This camp is introductory and all about being your best self through sport and the FUNdamentals. We do not allow helmets or pads as tennis balls/soft balls are used.
Campers should dress in athletic clothing, wear sneakers or cleats, bring a stick if they have it, and water and a small snack. Space is limited.
WHO: boys and girls ages 5-10 (players must be specified age at the time of the program)
WHERE: Rassie Wicker Park, Pinehurst, NC (10 Rassie Wicker Dr.)
2026 SUMMER CAMP DATES: July 13-16 9am-11am or 9am-*12pm (*Option to add 1 hour each day for lunch/splash pad)
US Lacrosse Membership required for insurance purposes. Membership is good for 1 year and required for all Mini Sticks programs
Some of the things players learn and practice throughout camp:
- How to be your best self on and off the field
- Lacrosse is FUN!
- Proper hold and grip of stick
- Cradle, scoop, catch, and throw
- Dodging and stick protection
- Shooting form and technique
- Hand-eye coordination
- Teamwork and sportsmanship
