MINI STICKS
Intro to lacrosse for boys and girls ages 3.5-8 in Moore County, North Carolina & Surrounding Areas
Mini Sticks is a lacrosse experience designed to help 3.5-8 year old kids become the best versions of themselves while teaching the game of lacrosse in a fun, supportive way. Equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own! Energetic coaches teach skills in an organized and age-appropriate manner using creative games and exercises. The goal is to teach basic lacrosse skills while developing physical literacy in a supportive setting. We discuss "super powers" each session - characteristics that make you a great lacrosse player AND person. Players will be grouped by age as of 8/31 (following school age cutoff), but if you have a request to be with friends we do our best to honor that! Mini Sticks...BIG Fun!

WHEN: Sundays*We believe every child develops at different rates and some are more ready than others for organized sports. The system is set up to allow 3.5-8 year olds to register. - Proper hold and grip of stick
- Cradle, scoop, catch, and throw
- Dodging and stick protection
- Shooting form and technique
- 1v1 defensive concepts
- Hand-eye coordination
- The way you act can be a SUPERPOWER. We discuss and emphasize various superpowers each session such as responsibility, toughness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and other important values.
Each participant receives 1 t-shirt for the year!
