MINI STICKS

Intro to lacrosse for boys and girls ages 3.5-8 in Moore County, North Carolina & Surrounding Areas

Mini Sticks is a lacrosse experience designed to help 3.5-8 year old kids become the best versions of themselves while teaching the game of lacrosse in a fun, supportive way. Equipment is provided, but feel free to bring your own! Energetic coaches teach skills in an organized and age-appropriate manner using creative games and exercises. The goal is to teach basic lacrosse skills while developing physical literacy in a supportive setting. We discuss "super powers" each session - characteristics that make you a great lacrosse player AND person. Players will be grouped by age as of 8/31 (following school age cutoff), but if you have a request to be with friends we do our best to honor that! Mini Sticks...BIG Fun!

*We believe every child develops at different rates and some are more ready than others for organized sports. The system is set up to allow 3.5-8 year olds to register. Things players learn and practice over 5 weeks:

How to be your best self on and off the field
Lacrosse is FUN!
Proper hold and grip of stick
Cradle, scoop, catch, and throw
Dodging and stick protection
Shooting form and technique
1v1 defensive concepts
Hand-eye coordination
The way you act can be a SUPERPOWER. We discuss and emphasize various superpowers each session such as responsibility, toughness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and other important values.

Each participant receives 1 t-shirt for the year!

Mini Sticks is hitting the road! Our Pop-Up Series brings the same Mini Sticks energy, coaching, and BIG fun to new locations — just in a shorter format. This special test run gives families a chance to experience Mini Sticks with 3 action-packed Sundays instead of the traditional 5-session season.

Players will build confidence, learn lacrosse fundamentals, play creative games, and develop teamwork and character through movement and play — all in the fun, welcoming Mini Sticks environment families love.
